Abstract. Saensouk S, P. 2023. Palynology of the genus Lagerstroemia (Lythraceae) in Thailand. Biodiversitas 24: 3222-3229. Pollen morphology from Thailand was poorly reported. This study aimed to pollen 17 species by applying acetolysis under a light microscope and scanning electron microscope. described with distinctive features morphology, i.e., size, shape, exine sculpturing, character aperture, polar, symmetry. All grains were monad polar view length 43.83±2.84 µm, equatorial 26.33±2.05 µm. The shape pollens prolate spheroidal, subspheroidal, subprolate. this recognized as bilateral, radial, sub-radial symmetries. apolar polar. aperture all reported tricolpate tricolporate. Exine sculpturing scabrate-granulate. can be divided into groups based on polarity, sizes medium size. ofall are indica-type.The cannot used for identification. 16 studied here first time.
